In considering what the role of the church should be in the face of the many nagging and endless challenges facing the church in the developing nations in the 21st century, such as poverty, wars, idolatry, disease, famine, corruption, debts etc. we must acknowledge one major limitation, which is the inability of the church leadership to raise believers who could apply biblical dynamics to leadership, the professions and the building of the nations. This has continued to make the church look weak and irrelevant in the face of the overwhelming societal challenges.
